Synergya is a collaboration platform for founders building in health, wellbeing and sustainability. The idea is that startups, scaleups and advisors grow by partnering with each other rather than by giving up equity. Before any of that can happen, the platform needs members, and it needs something for them to do once they arrive.
A platform like this lives or dies on its first version. If onboarding is clunky, founders do not finish signing up. If there is nothing to share once they are in, they do not come back. And a small team cannot spend its first year on infrastructure before anyone has used the product.
Synergya needed a working MVP: real onboarding, real opportunity sharing, and the plumbing to keep members engaged without someone sending every email by hand.
We built the first version of the platform end to end:
Member onboarding
A sign-up and onboarding flow that takes a founder from first visit to a complete profile, so the platform knows who they are, what they are building and what they are looking for.
Opportunity sharing
Members post partnership opportunities and browse what others have shared, which is the core loop the whole platform is built around.
Email automations
Onboarding and activity emails go out on their own, so new members are welcomed and existing ones are brought back without anyone keeping a list.
Self-hosted infrastructure
The whole thing runs on a self-hosted VPS, which keeps running costs low while the platform finds its footing.
Under the hood it is a Python backend with a React frontend, kept deliberately simple so the next features can be added without rebuilding what is there.
Synergya went from an idea to a platform people could sign up to and use. Founders onboard, share opportunities and hear from the platform automatically, and the team can put its time into growing the network rather than running the servers.
The stack is not the point. The point is that an early-stage platform got a real first version in front of real founders, without an early-stage budget going on infrastructure.
